Lake Havasu Halloween Fun 2020

COVID-19 has touched just about every aspect of our lives at one point or another this year. Schools turned to distance learning. Employers furloughed staff or sent them home to work. Many events ended up being canceled. (We still hosted the IJSBA 2020 World Finals earlier this month, though. Yay!) With the end-of-year holidays upon us, many parents wonder what to do about October 31st. Even amid all of the unknowns surrounding us right now, one thing is for sure…there will be some Lake Havasu Halloween fun this year.

Even amid a global pandemic, you can still enjoy some Lake Havasu Halloween Fun this year. Activities include a haunted house, ghost tours, family-friendly fun, and even some ice skating.

Lake Havasu Halloween Fun 2020

Costumed Ice Skating

Ice skating in the desert? Yes! Desert Bladz offers a free skate rental to anyone who dresses up in costume from 6 pm to close. They host a drawing at 8 pm. The winner receives a free 5-hour punch pass to come back and skate at another time. It does get chilly in there. So, dress warmly.

Fright Night on Main St

Free family fun takes over Main St from 4 pm to 8 pm. Sidewalk trick-or-treating. Ghoul’s Night Out at the museum. Drive-through trick-or-treating at Anderson Toyota starts at 5 pm. And finish the night with more trick-or-treating at Calvary Baptist Church from 6 pm to 9 pm. Allow the kids to work off their sugar frenzy by participating in some of the activities planned at the church before heading home for the night.

Hilltop Halloween

Worried about traditional door-to-door trick-or-treating this year? Spend this Lake Havasu Halloween at Hilltop Community Church. From 4 pm to 8 pm on October 31st, families are welcome to dress up and play games, grab some candy, win some prizes, and much more.

Ghost Tours

For the older kids (PG-13 crowd), take a ghost tour of Lake Havasu. City of Dark Angels hosts Havasu Hauntings Ghost Tours around the London Bridge for just $15 per person. They even show you how to do your very own ghost hunting.

Haunted House Fun

Theeeeeyyyy’rrreee heeeeerrrreee! The last bit of Lake Havasu Halloween fun includes, of course, a haunted house. The Lab II is back at VR Escape Reality. Every weekend between now and November 1st, this haunted house promises scares galore. Live actors lurk in every dark nook and around every creepy corner to scare you silly. The haunted house operates from 5 pm to 10 pm and costs just $10 per person.
