When you live in an area with over 300 days of sunshine a year and hundreds of miles of open highways, you can only think of one thing. Driving. Well, to be fair, in Havasu, really anything outdoorsy comes to mind. But while other areas of the country fight off cold, rainy weather, Lake Havasu car shows rule our March weekends.

Southwest Classic Ford Truck Show
First up? The Southwest Classic Ford Truck Show. This event takes place from 8 am to 4 pm on Friday, March 22nd, and Saturday, March 23rd at Havasu Riviera Marina. If you own a Ford truck built before 1997, organizers welcome you to participate. They have room for as many as 500 vehicles. Registration costs just $35 per vehicle. To register, you must send an email to show organizers. Spectators get in for free. In addition to the truck show, there will be a swap meet, several vendors, and food trucks, with beer and wine available for those ages 21 or over (with a valid ID, of course).
Troop Box Convoy Car & Bike Show
Next up? The Troop Box Convoy Car and Bike Show. This show takes place from 9 am to 3 pm on Saturday, March 23rd at the London Bridge Plaza parking lot. Arizona Legion Post 81 hosts this special shindig that celebrates members of the military and their families. In addition to all of the cars and bikes on display, they offer fun family-friendly entertainment. Enjoy a delicious breakfast burrito or tasty lunch while you peruse the aisles of vehicles. Purchase raffle and 50/50 tickets for your chance at some great prizes.
Woodystock Blues Festival
Enjoy some great music with your classic cars? Then this last one of the Lake Havasu car shows is for you! This annual favorite brings blues, brews, and extreme machines to Windsor 4 of Lake Havasu State Park. The festival runs from 10 am to 10 pm on Saturday, March 23rd, and 11 am to 8 pm on Sunday, March 24th. In addition to a non-stop musical lineup, guests will be treated to extreme cars, boats, motorcycles, offroad vehicles, and more. Plus, keep your bellies full will delicious food available for sale on-site. Just make sure you bring a blanket and/or lawn chairs to partake in comfort. Ticket prices range from $30 per day to $40 for a weekend pass. Purchase your tickets online for these discounted prices. They go up at the door.
