With Christmas just over a week away, there are several fun Lake Havasu Christmas events that you can still be a part of to celebrate the season.

Lake Havasu Christmas Events 2023

Sledding with Santa

We have it on good authority that Santa plans on stopping by Lake Havasu this weekend for a very special event. This Friday, December 15th, he’ll be at Tinnel Memorial Park from 5 pm to 8 pm. And he plans on bringing some snow with him directly from the North Pole. Load up on free cocoa and cookies. Then, grab a sled and zoom down the snow-covered hills with the jolliest of elves, Santa Claus.

12 Bars of Christmas

Come to the Harleyz and Hot Rodz Motor Pub and Grill on Friday, December 15th to begin your trek through 12 bars and pubs. All of the pubs on the list sit within walking distance of Harleyz. The festivities begin at 5 pm. A to Z (Adrienne and Zack) perform live at Harleyz on Friday at 6 pm. For more info, call (928) 302-1458.

Drive-Through Nativity

A local favorite, New Hope Calvary Church hosts its annual drive-through nativity at 5:30 pm on December 15th and 16th. Live performers re-enact the celebration of Jesus’ birth in the lot next to 3735 N London Bridge Rd in Desert Hills. This event comes free of charge. You don’t even need to leave your vehicle.

The Nutcracker Ballet

Everyone needs to experience this Christmas classic at least once in their lives. Come to the Lake Havasu Center for the Performing Arts on December 15th, 16th, or 17th to enjoy a live performance of the Chrismas classic The Nutcracker Ballet. Tickets cost between $10 and $20 per person and can be purchased online right now.

Winter Solstice Slow Flow & Sound Bath

OM in the Hills hosts a Winter Solstice celebration on Thursday, December 21st. Beginning at 4 pm, guests may partake in a 40-minute Yinyasa session. After that, enjoy a sound bath to clear your chakras and start the season with a fresh mindset. Tickets cost just $20. For more information, please email OM in the Hills.

Gingerbread House Contest

Scoops offers more than ice cream this holiday season. For the first time every, they are hosting a gingerbread house contest. Contestants drop off their submissions between December 11th and December 15th. But the actual judging takes place on Friday, December 22nd between 5 pm and 8 pm. They invite the public to come see the various submissions for themselves absolutely free of charge. And maybe grab an ice cream while you’re there, too.

Pajama Party

Mudshark Brewery hosts their Christmas Pajama Party on Friday, December 22nd. Dress up in your favorite PJs and you might very well go home with a fabulous prize. Most festive, best dressed, and best dressed couple receive anywhere from $100 to $150. Not bad for a stocking stuffer, eh? Enjoy holiday martinis (for the 21+ crowd with a valid ID, of course) in the game room. For more info, please call (928) 453-9302.
