Havasu Winterfest Street Festival 2023

While so much of the country deals with snow and torrential rains (yes, I’m looking at you California), Lake Havasu enjoys relatively moderate temperatures in the wintertime. Plus, we have gorgeous sunshine-filled days even in the dead of winter. That means lots of great outdoor activities take place year-round. This includes the Havasu Winterfest Street Festival 2023.

This year's Lake Havasu Winterfest Street Festival 2023 takes over Main Street in the Downtown District on Feb 4th & 5th with live music, great food, hundreds of vendors, and even a beer garden.

Havasu Winterfest Street Festival 2023

Winterfest takes place the weekend before Super Bowl every year. More than 200 vendors set up booths along McCulloch Blvd in the Downtown District between Smoketree Ave and just beyond Birch Sq. That’s a lot of real estate! Vendors scheduled for this year’s event range from larger companies like Bradley Chevrolet, the Havasu Credit Union, and Mohave Community College to smaller local businesses like The Licorice Guy, Pretty’s N Paw’s, and the Hillbilly Flannel Co. Even Aquarius and Edgewater Casinos have space at Winterfest.

But shopping isn’t the only thing you’ll find here. Southern California’s Black Rock Candy performs their brand of rock on Saturday from 2:30 pm to 5 pm. And singers/songwriters Scott & Sabrina close out the festival on Sunday from 12 pm to 3 pm with their take on country, pop, rock, and a dash of hip-hop.

To keep up your strength while traversing the Downtown District, you have your choice of several food trucks to choose from to keep your bellies full. Plus, organizers set up a beer garden for the 21 and older crowd. (You must present a valid photo ID in order to purchase alcohol.) The beer garden will be set up at Querio Dr, across from Havasu Guns.

Volunteer Opportunities

Want to help out? The Chamber of Commerce still needs volunteers to help with setting up, trash pickup, patrolling the street, and cleaning up/tearing down. They even need assistance in the beer garden. If you are interested in volunteering your time and getting a unique perspective on this year’s festivities, please visit the Chamber’s volunteer website here to sign up.
